    How to get flat stomach?

    Now a day fat belly is a problem every third person encounter. You may not be fat; you may be slim but your tummy says otherwise. We tend to do so many things to keep ourselves in shape but what exactly helps? 

    Here are a few tips that will help you get a flat stomach.  

    • Do not eat 2-3 hours prior to sleeping  

    It is wise not to consume heavy meals in dinner since the calories you take can’t be burn as there is less activity. These calories get stored in your body as fat.  

    • Eat in small proportion 

    Rather than filling up your plate with a heap of food, take small proportions of food and eat them till you feel full. Do not overload your plate with food just for the sake of eating, rather put small proportion of food and fill half of it with green vegetables.  

    • Eat Healthy 

    Eat healthy foods like fruits, veggies, whole grams, low fat dairy products etc. Consume products that have low sodium contents, avoid having fast food, junk food.  

    • Take small meals but frequent 

    Make this a habit to eat small portions in regular time intervals not letting your stomach feel empty for a long period of time. Chew the food properly, eat slowly and drink water after a while, not immediately. This helps prevent formation of Gas and develops good appetite.  

    • Take less sugar in diet 

    Cut out sugar contents from your diet to lower insulin level of your body. You may take artificial sweeteners instead but make sure they don’t act other ways for your body.  

    • Eat snacks rich in protein 

    Eating healthy snacks in between 3 to 4 is a habit everyone should adapt. You can eat a handful of almonds, raisins, shake or other such snacks. This helps boosting metabolism.  

    • Drink more water 

    Drink plenty of water especially when you are doing heavy workout or exercise. Whenever possible, take short water breaks. Replace soda, soft drinks with Water as this will reduce empty calorie intake.  

    • Do not do alcohol 

    Alcohol may increase calories on your body especially beer and Wine. It may be difficult to cut out on alcohol but believe me, it’s worth it.  

    • Exercise – aerobics, crunches 

    Exercise is an essential step in making your belly flat. OfCourse, you will need to burn the excess fat that rests on your belly. For this, you can consider walking, jogging, dancing, cycling, swimming etc. As this will burn the calories. Make sure whatever you do, keep it going for 30 minutes. Also, your body needs rest, keep 2 days rest in your list. In addition, do crunches and you will observe changes in your body.  

    • Do not starve 

    Never starve yourself. This may seem an easy option for you but can be extremely dangerous. This could cause major health problems that will not help in getting flat belly at all.  

    • Sleep on time 

    Hit your bed on time and sleep sufficient so that you have the energy to deal with everything the next day. You will feel fresh, energized and not tired all the time.
