    Is Dancing the best exercise?

    Dancing is an unconventional way of exercise and may not be preferred by many, but can it be the best exercise?  

    According to a study by Brighton university, UK Dancing helps burn around 600 calories an hour which is similar to running or swimming. Means you can burn the same or more amount of calorie by dancing. Believe it or not, dancing does wonders to your body.  

    Obviously, the amount of calorie you burn in a day totally depends on the effort you are putting in pushing yourself. Different dance forms have different effects in your body, some makes you leaner, some keep your body in shape and some simply helps in losing weight. One thing that’s for sure is your body becomes more agile, flexible and active. The music is an add-on pleasure that stimulates your mind and helps relaxing. Dancing could be more effective for some than exercise or jogging as it’s a more fun way of working out. Also, dancing with partners can be relaxing and may lift your mood as it’s more of an exercise while hugging. In a survey, it is observed that people who dance together with partners tend to feel more positive and lighter.
