What are 10 places in India a girl can travel solo?

    Answer by :

I travel places not only for fun or Instagram photos but to observe the beauty and essence of a particular place that makes it one of a kind. I go places, it becomes a part of me, and retain a lifetime of memories and experience. Traveling with friends and loved ones can be exciting but going solo on a trip is exhilarating. We all need the alone time once in a while and what better thing to treat yourself with the tranquility than a solo trip.

Planning a solo trip sounds exciting but can end up devious if safety is not the constraint you consider beforehand. Here, I have curated a list of 10 places that are safe for female travelers in India.

    • Udaipur, Rajasthan

The royal city, the romantic city is perfect destination for all. Of course, it’s an ideal location for couples but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the beauty alone. What makes it a must go place is the royal beauty, friendly people and lavish food.

    • Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

Rishikesh attracts tourists that are adventurous and enjoys River rafting, rappelling etc. Even if you aren’t the adventurous type, the scenic beauty of Himalayas, Meditation camps and the serenity makes it one of the must visit places of India.

    • Hampi, Karnataka

UNESCO world Heritage site, Hampi shows an India that you have never seen before. Ruins of temple draws people all around the world and the simplicity and Hospitality it offers to tourists is commendable.

    • Puducherry

Governed by Simplicity and tranquility, Pondicherry isn’t a modern time travel destination. You can see glimpses of French city, savor French cuisine and shop till you drop.

    • Sikkim

Probably the best part of North East region surrounded by high mountains, low valleys. Sikkim is home to Buddhist monastery, wild flowers, and highest mountain of India, Kanchenjunga.

    • Munnar, Kerala

Situated in Kerala, Munnar presents picture perfect green landscapes that can be breathtaking. Famous for tea plantation, the place provides you a lot of other things to do that you can go crazy for.

    • Shimla

You can reach Shimla by taking a flight to Chandigarh. The hill station holds a special place in every traveler's book because of the picturesque beauty it exhibits. You can walk through the snowy lane alone and enjoy every moment.

    • Mysore

Mysore is one of the safest places of Karnataka, especially being a tourist spot. You can explore the Mysore palace and many such places unravelling ancient Indian culture and history.

    • Nainital

Located in Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, Nainital is the perfect stop for your solo trip. You can cherish scenic beauty of hill station, Nainital lake with hill view without have to worry about safety.
