Hyperuricemia is a medical condition where in your body has increased level of uric acid. The problem causes pain in joints, limbs, toes and finger and can cause problems like kidney stones, gout etc. your doctor prescribed you medicines, and however, they are going to ask you to quit foods rich in Protein.

Basic things that you need to do right away to balance uric levels:

    • Limit Protein rich food in your diet.
    • Balance insulin, avoid sugar.
    • Do not do alcohol.
    • Add fiber in your body.
    • Do not take stress.
    • Take medicines as the doctor prescribed.

    Food you shouldn’t have:

    • Organ Meats
    • Fish & seafood
    • Beverages with sugar content and added sugar
    • Yeasts
    • Alcohol

    Things to eat:

    • Fruits (especially berries)
    • Vegetables
    • Whole grains
    • Herbs and spices
    • Plant based oils

However eating moderate purine foods are allowed time to time like red meats beef, pork, chicken, ham etc. You may as well consume Shellfish, such as crab, lobster, oysters and shrimp as they have moderate level of purine. Coffee has moderate purine and can be taken time to time, though not in excess. Rest take medical consultation to keep yourself healthy.
